Hi folks,
The X-Pro 1 is starting to look rather interesting. Leica Rumors
report that "Fuji will announce their own M-mount adapter for the X-Pro 1. The camera will also have two optical magnification options: x0.37 for wider lenses and x0.60 for other lenses."
Photo Rumors also
report that the "new sensor called X-Trans is a classic 16-megapixel. RGB filter is arranged in random blocks of 6x6 pixels which avoids the need for AA filter. This design requires a faster processor - the X-Pro 1 has a new EXR Processor Pro." They also report that it will have a "similar hybrid viewfinder like in the x100".
With a decent set of primes expected at launch as well it looks as though Fuji may have a winner on their hands if they price it right and would also seem to be squeezing Leica towards a full-frame sensor for their own pre-announced non-rangefinder CSCs expected towards the end of this year.
Bob.
