Hello...
Got my first chance to try out my Tamron 70-300 and i'm very happy with it.

Here are some of the pics from the Singapore zoo. I think it was a decent attempt. C&C pls.

#1 Nubian Ibex

#4 White Tiger

300mm - ISO1600, 1/1600s - F/5.6

#5 Cassowary
Image

300mm - ISO800, 1/30s - F/5.6

#6 Pygmy Hippo
Image

70mm - ISO800, 1/250s - F/4

#7 Happy Kid
Image

300m - ISO800, 1/25s - F/8

All the pics, PP - was crop, contrast, colour highlight.

I was very happy with #6 b├žos i was at the right place at the right time.

And guys i know #7 obviously doesn't belong here but this was taken in the zoo. Happy kid excited to see the animals. Used the focal b&w on this.

Some great shots here. Live the separation you've got between the subject and the background using darker backgrounds. Well composed.

It doesn't get me past the fact that I HATE zoo's though :(

Thanks man! :lol: even i don't like the zoo so much....but wanted to try my new tamron 70-300 so just thought what the hell....

Good lens though!
