I have a Canon Sx 30 and have had good luck shooting video at concerts by adjusting the mic level to manual, and setting it a the lowest setting. I try to get good seats and the audio playback sounds great, when I adjust down the input mic level in this way.
My Question is, can this be done on the fz-150???
If so, I will get one, as my soon to be ex-wife has the sx 30, and I
don't think she intends to give it back!!!!
If the Fz-150's audio can not be turned down in the same manner,
I will have to consider the SX 40
Thank you in advance for your help.
I looked in the advanced manual, and could not find this feature.

Hi Gene, as I recall, the audio gain is automatic on the FZ150, but I still found the quality to be pretty good. I also did an external microphone test in my review which you might find interesting: ... DMC_FZ150/
