This phenomenon could be seen over large parts of Norway yesterday. It was created by the bad weather which has hit us the last few days. This has pushed ice crystals high up the atmosphere where they act like prisms to create these wonderful colors. I've seen some small ones before, but nowhere close to being as spectacular as this

Should've stopped down a bit more as I feel a bit deeper DoF would've been beneficial

Thanks :) It's great fun when you make it work, and it certainly has taken some practice! Thousands of shots of cats, for example
Flash bouncing really is genius :D

I had a really great idea for a shot to finish off the decemberfest today, but I needed another person's help to do it and it seemed no one cared enough to bother. So that crashed and burned basically
I will be able to take it tomorrow (hopefully), but I wanted it to be a decemberfest shot :?

This is how I end my decemberfest. It has been a nice addition to the P365, and having to post my shots here made me put a bit more effort into my shooting in december instead of just going for the easy options just because I was tired of the P365. Thanks to Phil for the great idea, and thanks to all decemberfesters for making this a hit, and thanks for the inspiration!
For me the decemberfest has also underlined how much I still love the 50D! Especially the AF, and also the limited buffer and slow burst, on the 600D has annoyed me quite a lot. Read my rant on the 600D's AF from Dec 04 if you want more :P As for the 85/1.8: I loved it before and I love it still :D

Later I will have a go-through of the days on which I chose a different shot for P365 than for the decemberfest, and maybe I'll post them here
