Loving the images, more more more!!

33% done, 66% to go. Got any plans or are you taking it each day as it comes?

Yesterday's (failed) pic. The blue tit on the nut feeder moved just as I took the shot, leaving a slightly ghosty image. I then had to immediately dash outside to rescue the kit as heavy rain started. I've put the pic up anyway as it also has lots of seasonal berries! Also didn't want to miss another day. Hoping the camera and lens dry out OK.

Going back to the beginning, here's another one from the 1st of the month, taken in Scotland.

No, Ian G. No plans. Taking each day as it comes. Having big computer problems just now, so that is hampering things somewhat.

Had broadband problems and been working away for a couple of days, so here's a catch-up. 13, 14 and 16 December. Missed the 15th.

A very full River Kent, south of Kendal. Not really happy with this one but it was the best of the bunch on a very dull day. Land Rover at top right gives idea of scale. I had to clone out a bright red mattress that had been dumped by some lout.

Next one, with the carol-singing soon on the cards....

From today, a pic of a small loch (or lochan?) in Ayrshire.

Pic for today (17th). Taken shortly after sunset. This is the estuary of the River Kent at Arnside in South Lakeland. The tide was coming in, quickly, as it does here because of the shallow waters.

With a week to go to Christmas I give you two shop windows in the small market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.

And a traditional sweet shop:

Mine seems to be becoming a Christmas fest thread. Finally got the tree done today. Where does time go?

Apologies. Been away, been a bit under the weather. Here are contributions for 24, 25 and 29 December. Totally boring by comparison with Janern's magnificant cloud. Those clouds are supposed to be pastel-coloured but that one is something else. Magnificent!

Ian G - that's a good-looking camel.

24 Dec - nose sadly out of focus.

25 Dec - table decoration.

29 Dec - Lilliput Lane scene.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. New Year to come!

My final pic for Decemberfest. Hand held; no flash. This is my neighbour's table at the start of the New Year's Eve celebrations. Most of what you see was produced by him and his wife on their farm. Delicious. Great party too. I should be fully recovered in a few weeks.

Happy New Year everyone!
