i watched a youtube video from B&H photo (NYC) of a Canon rep who knew lots about that brand's hi-end dSLRs (2 hours video). it was interesting as he demonstrated many of the focus & burst choices available, as are Gordon's videos. the advanced software in those hi-end cams necessitates better processing and control circuitry-- thus higher costs to manufacture (and to recoup development costs) and of higher value to consumers. larger sensors are superior and have higher cost.

tomorrow's low-end cams might have what features regarding improvement of light sensoring/processing (image quality)? what's coming next year?
