Looks to me like excellent focus, haven't tried mine out yet crappy weather here, and I haven't a ball.

Looked fake like the ppl and the ball were inserted via "Photoshop."

Maybe I am wrong, but those photos do not look natural to me.

That's often the case when dof separates the object in focus from the background. Using my f1.4 lens created this seemingly 3D effect shooting mountain biking the other day
