Hi folks,

The original "What have you just bought?" thread (here) was a huge success but has actually grown to the point where some of the forum management tools (barring the nuclear options like deleting or editing posts) no longer work well so I've started "Part 2".

The original thread was created by Gregory.Rotter (thanks, Gregory) so, in his own words, this is:
The thread where you tell us all what you've been spending your hard earned pennies on :D I know this particular thread is very popular on other forums so thought I'd be the one to start it here. This thread is basicly just to share what you've purchased. Obviously it would be more suited to post things camera related, but you can post other things too.
Bob.

I just got two books via amazon affiliate link. Herpetology - An introductory biology of amphibians and reptiles, and also the much more simply titled "Geckos". So yes, I might be getting more subjects in the future...

A nice suit. Italian fit, so very slim. Also got a shirt, tie, and cufflinks with it.

That being said: I'll have a more photography-related post in 29 days...

EDIT: To test my credit card, I got these:

I haven't bought it yet, but I've just got an itch for a Coronado Personal Solar Telescope. Mainly as I haven't yet found a company I trust who have it in stock... maybe that's for the better :D

Wow that's an awesome deal. I paid 6 euros for one roll (more rolls are cheaper, but since this is my first time shooting 120 I decided to just get one roll).

It's not a Zeiss, sadly, it's an Agfa Record I, built in the 1950's in germany. The lens is an Agfa Agnar 105mm F/4.5 so, provided I focus correctly, it should be able to render a nice background blur.

Speaking of focusing the lens, the agfa grease turned solid in the past 60 years, so I had to clean that out completely. After I assembled it again, I checked the focus with a small Lee matte filter.

I also have an old Agfa Clack lying around. Want to trade it for a couple of rolls by any chance?

Did my Christmas shopping on Friday. Also got myself a pocket square (red silk) for my new suit. Helped my parents order an iPad online (Black Friday discount). So all in all, spent a ton of money, not what I'm supposed to be doing with only 26 days to go till the M9-P day...
