Yeah Janern, I graduated from Memorial University here in Canada. Small world - we've had a few grads (and pregrad work terms) over in Norway. One of my classmates is currently working there at Det Norske Veritas. I've also worked in the Helsinki University of Technology's tank as well. Who knows, both of us could have had a hand in something related! :-)

Quick question, I'm pretty new to photography, but I've been getting really interested in it lately and I'd love to try my hand at this competition. I am in the process of trying to get a DSLR, but for now I'm stuck with a Canon a560 P&S, so am I allowed to enter shots from a P&S? If not I understand, but I wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask.

Managed to have a pic this month. To busy doing kung fu here in china, so I almost forgot about the contest. Didn't touch the camera for a few weeks already... No time to find a better photo now. This Ji Ben Quan stuff i am learning now is killing me... (or at least my legs and knees).

RaptorF22: Of course you can submit it! Take a photo with your cell phone cam if you want - The quality of a photo is dependent on the skill of the photographer, not the cost of his camera.

Not really many participants until now... come on! It's such an easy theme! (OK, I should kick myself for not having a picture, yet.)

Easy theme? TOO MUCH CHOICE! I've gone through countless ideas which I've got to various stages and aborted. Now at the point of submitting something just to submit something... don't want to miss yet another month.

Failed ideas just this evening include using The Force and a new Apple storage device...

before voting just wanted to check if there are any restrictions. Are competitors allowed to vote and is there a max number of shots you can vote for (or is it just one?)

Hi usernametaken, competitors are allowed to vote but you can only vote for one entry.
