Interesting, assuming the leaks are real. I'm not sure why Photo Rumors says "the body and lenses appear to be large enough to be full frame" though. Through an admittedly convoluted set of measurements and sums (starting with an assumed hot-shoe width of 2 cm) I made the clear aperture inside the lens mount to be about 2.5 cm. Looking at cameras such as the Sony NEX or the micro four-thirds offerings the sensor diagonal is always smaller than the clear aperture. Assuming a 3:2 aspect ratio that means the sensor width cannot be larger than 2 cm (more sums) and that implies a crop factor of at least 1.8.
Fuji are still, so far as I am aware, members of the four-thirds consortium and it would be tempting to assume a crop factor of 2 and a micro-four thirds lens system but that isn't what we have here. I wonder what percentage Fuji sees in going it's own way and creating yet another lens system and competing directly with the likes of Panasonic, Olympus and Sony?
