If you were a mac user you'd have paid 70 bucks for a mouse that can't right-click.

The Nikon SG-3IR (or whatever it's called) to block my pop-up flash from exposing when I'm doing off camera flash work with CLS. It's been great so far, but it makes me wonder, does Nikon REALLY have to charge $15 for it? It's nothing more than a piece of plastic, it probably costs $0.50 or less to make, meanwhile they're charging outrageous amounts of money for products that they know that people will buy because there are few other ways to get around the problems that they cause. It's too bad that I couldn't find any $2 eBay knock offs.

Black bit of paper taped over works just as well :)

I considered that, but I worried about the flash either overheating, or when I needed to peel the tape it would rip off some of the black paint around the flash.

Good choice!

I really love that lens and I'm using it... well... "very often". ;)

Finally replaced my rickitty kit tripod with a Manfrotto compact. Still want a bigger carbon fiber but this is a much better start to the junk one that came with the kit

MacBook Air, 11" with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD. Should arrive sometime next week.

Needed an ultra-portable laptop for university and for my travels: with 40MB RAW files on the M9-P, I'd have to buy too many SD-cards to make it through an entire week. Plus, being able to look at the photos on a bigger screen is a good step forward!

I'll hope you join next weeks Google+ Hangout on my new MacBook!

(in case you're wondering: sold my 85mm f/1.4 to get this, not dipping in to M9-P money here)

Congratulations. Did you upgrade the CUP to 1.8GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7?

11-inch MacBook Air is a wise choice for travelling. (I've been travelling with one and iPad 2.)
