This picture is of a remote villge to the north west part of the Faroes.

both pictures are made from 3 handheld pictures, made in to hdr in photomatix. Taken with my 20D + Tamron 17-50mm

Lovely shots! The first one seems to have a little too much shadow on the rocks for me, but otherwise I love them.

I like both of them, but the first one I like the most, where you've captured the lighting on the village.

Thank you guys for your kind comments :)

The village in the first picture only got at road connection about 3 years ago (tunnel). Before that you had to walk over the mountains, to get to it! :)

btw...both pictures are hdr's ;)
Handheld, 3 shots in aperture mode, 2ev apart, merged in photomatix.
