Yep, I mentioned this in my E-410 review on this page:

It's the great hope for all Four Thirds owners! It offers the same equivalent range as the Nikkor 18-200mm and comes with optical stabilisation. And it's a Leica!

But there's still no firm date or price yet. My worry is it'll cost over $999 USD, in which case existing Olympus DSLR owners would probably be better off just buying a new E-510 twin lens kit instead. Same price, same optical range, but with a new modern body that's (unless they bought an E-400) higher resolution than their old model.

So while I really welcome the Panasonic / Leica 14-150mm, I suspect it may face an uphill struggle against the E-510...

So this is the big question to existing Olympus DSLR owners:

Q: Would you buy a stabilised lens for your old body, or upgrade to the new E-510 instead which has built-in stabilisation?
