Definitely, welcome to the club!

Status update on the D2H: Still loving it, haven't proposed to it yet.

Nikon FM, a great old film cam. With a few good old AI-S lenses, you'll get great pics!

Just picked up my Canon A1, everything seems to work perfectly. Loaded in some ISO-400 film and have shot 5 pics so far (Dark atm, wanna save them for tomorrow). Love the feel and look of it. Canon should REALLY put 35mm cmos sensors in these and not change anything else!
(Actually had to check the manual and watch a guide on how to load film, never done it before  )

May I join the club please ? I'm not sure which side of the fence my D80 falls but my D2h is definitely old and good and kick-ass !

I've just gotten back into shooting speedway from infield. Just for an experiment one day I took my D2h along as well as my everyday ride, a D90.

A store near us has a very good price on 24 x 36 posters at the moment so this morning I loaded 8 of my favourite shots onto a usb stick to take down. I'll be going back to collect them in about an hour. When I got home it occured to me that while the posters were cheap I should get a couple of D2h shots done too to see how well they blew up to that size. I cranked up lightroom again and found to my surprise that 4 of the 8 shots were from the D2h and the kiosk hadn't so much as blinked when I asked for 24x36 prints from them.

It did complain about one shot not having enough pixels but I knew I'd chopped a third of the shot to reframe it - I didn't realise that it was a D2h shot and I'd managed to crop it down to about 2.7mp. I'm really looking forward to picking the posters up and seeing how they compare !

Gary

Shot a couple of rolls with a Praktica LTL 3, working well!
