Which do you prefer the HDR or the regular?

Nice colourful image but for me it's the wrong subject for HDR because thevimage is dominated by the highlights with just the band of shadow in the middle and there's not much going on in there. Probably just a little pp is needed rather than going ful HDR. That's just me though

I agree with jkstacey, bottom one also look sharper.

Possibly play with while balance a bit?

While I like the first more than the second, I feel as if they're both oversaturated.

Holy Saturation Slider, Batman!

Thanks for the comments, I didn't increase the saturation on either photo. The HDR process always makes things look more saturated in a photo like this though. I could down the red and orange tones with WB but it was a very colorful sunset the bottom picture is close to what the scene looked like.

I think I agree and like the non-HDR version better though, as maxjj said it's just sharper.

The main differences to me are the brightness and the sky colors.
All in all I like the non-HDR colors better but I'd lighten it up a bit.

I prefer the colours in the second one - they look a lot more natural.
