My father once told me there's only 3 things in life you need.
1. you got good health
2. you keep yourself warm
3. you have food in your stomach
But what he meant was, when you go out to take photographs there's only 3 things in life you need
1. Aperture
2. shutter speed
3. Autofocus
4. batteries
5. lenses
6. A good camera like Sony
7. flashgun
8.................

One I liked this week from the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club, Mick McCarthy:

"Opinions are like backsides. We've all got one but it isn't always wise to air them in public."

Not exactly Churchillian but it gets the message across.

Very wise words and it's a polite alternative to the body part I liken opinions to in the same way everybody's got one as well.
