LOL! They're sent already.

They asked a few profile questions so I had to mix a few up to cover Dubai, travel and some faces of Dubai. I wanted to keep it consistent so I submitted 5 x black and whites.

They had 4 shots previously, so I've sent these different ones.

`Congratulation` Phil. I love your photos and the ones you have submitted are brilliant. Its always nice to hear when camera lab members acheive something like this. And so you should feel proud of yourself, well done to you, great stuff. :)

Outstanding submissions, Phil! I'd love to see you post some sort of guide to your favorite types of photography (street, architectural, etc.), I'm sure that all CL users could benefit from it.

Thanks james, naniani, eVolutioN and EvanK

@ EvanK - I don't think I'm remotely qualified!

I might have some different shots coming up in 3 weeks or so though! 1 week to The Maldives, flying on Friday, and I've blagged a cheapie Olympus underwater camera on loan so we'll se what that can produce. I might alarm a few of the hotel staff, wandering out into the water in the lagoon in the morning and evening with a tripod and D700 with 14-24!

I've got a few shots preplanned - the ususal 'down the pier' shot with the beautiful colour from the water and sky, the 'looking back on the tropical island' shot from the lagoon and I want to try to get an above and below the water shot, with the waterline half way up the lens, showing the reef, fish and then island above. They'll keep me busy for a while!

I'll be bang on the equator, so they'll be no pole star but some nighttime long exposures will be tried as well. And some remotely tripped flash shots of the crabs as they come out at dusk.

That lot will keep my busy! Polariser, ND filters and ND grad at the ready - can't wait!
