Not sure if i'm for, or against the idea, but if it was a goer, surely if it was done via a PM, it wouldn't be CL's responsibility.
Also only allow the use of the PM facility after 30, 50 ....? posts & even then only after 3 months of registering on the site.

Just a couple of ideas.

Still not so keen about the idea of a buy and sell section, but a store for Cameralabs merchandise would be cool, I'd definitely buy some of that.

me too, other stuff I'm happy surfing ebay and it comes with all the added security that Camera Labs won't be able to provide.

Call me a cynic but I'd put money on most people's desire to sell here and not on eBay coming solely from not having to pay a listing fee or to pay a percentage of the selling price. If you implement such a policy here, even if all of the proceeds go towards running this site/forum, I don't think there would be half as much enthusiasm for a For Sale/Wanted section.

By no means am I suggesting that a For Sale/Wanted section should come with a fee to pay towards running the site because that in itself will probably have implications of liability should there come a dispute.

Not my call but we should leave it all to eBay.
