I took a trip to Prague a few weeks ago. I've finished my first round of processing photos, and I thought I'd share a few here.


Notes: These street performers were playing each day on the Charles Bridge.

nice shots, the one with the red roofs leading up to the castle, have you thought about a B&W of that?

Thanks. Unfortunately the B/W of that photo looks pretty dull. The sky is cloudy, but there's no definition in the clouds, just noise. What I really should have done is wait a bit for the clouds to pass. But when you're traveling with other people, they're not always as patient as you might hope. Waiting 10-15 minutes so that you can set up a shot is not really an option.

Thanks sbl03! I think it's time to add a few more shots to this thread. Here are a few from Terezin, a concentration camp near Prague. For all of these photos, the grain was added in post processing.

Lovely Pictures ... Mostly enjoyed the one with the roof tops and the one with the old man playing the clarinet ...
Did you have any focusing issues with the sigma ? especially at 17mm ... I am planning to buy it (on Nikon mount) and i've heard great things about the lens ... but a lot of people state that it has focusing problems ... or is it just a matter of some faulty versions people picked up ?
