Post subject: DMC FZ150 photo quality
PostPosted: Mon Sep 05, 2011 2:28 pm
I have read some not so stellar things about the quality of the photos of this new camera. There is a site that has 60+ photos and they are not up to expectations in my view, but there are certainly a lot of variables..........there have been no full reviews that I can find, so I am hesitant to place an order without more data.

Any insights?

I will definbitely be reviewing this one, but can't comment until I have a final production sample. Hopefully within the next few weeks...

Gordon, I hope you make a deep revision of the FZ-150. I checked the photos carefully, and compared it with the FZ-100 and other similar new super zoom's, and are far superior in IQ. Comes with ( RAW, Hot Shoe, Super coating Lenses, etc.) I remember the first impressions of the FZ-35/38. And believe me, the FZ-150 will give us the same satisfaction.
Plkease, make a deep review of the FZ-150 to us. Thanks. :D

stoneinsc...every review/preview that I have read indicates the IQ of the FZ150 is very good and some even point out it's better than the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX100V.

Would care to share with us the URL's of the reviews you read and saw the 60+ photos?

I hope to start testing the FZ150 this week and I'll post sample images and video as soon as possible... in the meantime, I've just completed my FZ47 / FZ48 review - see sticky thread...

Thanks Gordon...I look forward to your FZ150 review.

I always enjoy reading your reviews because they are easy to read with just enough technical info to make it interesting yet not boring.
