Well, I passed up the opportunity to get some good close-ups of one of my top favorite animals, 2 ravens. Leaving my camp site heading back to Anchorage, we stopped at a grocery store and found some kids checking out 2 ravens that had gotten into the shopping cart holding area at the front of the store. I went and grabbed my camera to get a shot and when I came back and realized the birds were stressing and the only way out was through the door where everyone was coming and going. So, I got my wife to stop everyone back from the door and walked the birds out. It pissed everyone off staying there in the rain but I didn't care. Most people around here see them as trash birds (you hear of bears going thru the trash, you should see what a couple of these guys can do to an unsecured trash can ) but I love them.
