Hmmm, we're getting close to critical mass again, but it'll have to wait until the next time I'm in the US, which probably won't be until early next year - unless of course people are happy to pay a little more to cover the shipping costs...

Which one, the 500D? What body do you think you will aim for, out of interest?

Extremely late answer  Read it just now. I'm planning to get the 7D.

Gordon,

Let us know the price of strap if you were to acquire them directly from the US, and also the price if we pick up the extra for shipping.

Thanks

How much to post within NZ? And are you coming to take any action shot of the rugby world cup game?

Hi Aotearoa2104, I'll work out a price soon!

As for the rugby, there's only practice games going on in QT, but I may try and grab some shots - or at least ask some of the pros around here to have a go!

Hi everyone, I've added a poll to this thread to ask where people are based who would like to order a strap. Please add your location to it!

Thanks!

Hi oldcarlos, as a one-man operation it becomes difficult to process payments from other sources, but I may be able to handle UK and NZ cheques...

Okay, Ive done my sums and the high cost of shipping straps to NZ and then back out again means I'd need to charge approximately $35 USD for each strap including airmail postage and packing. As for folk in NZ, it's no cheaper to post them domestically believe it or not.

Do people want to go ahead with this at this price?

Hello Gordon

Sorry - hadn't looked at this section for a while. I said I would go for two. Can I take it that the postage of both together would mean a lower total than $70?
