Hi everyone, I think it would be fun to have video hangouts with members of the Cameralabs forum on Google+!

This thread is here to add the Google+ names of forum members who are interested, and to announce new hangout times - so keep an eye on this thread!

To ensure it's only Cameralabs forum members who join-in, I suggest we all create a new circle in Google+ and add the names of Cameralabs forum members to it. Then we can keep our hangouts private or open them up to the public once we have filled the spots with members if desired.

The mods and I can keep an updated list here in the next post if people reply with their real Google+ names...

Then when we have a few, we can try our first hangout!

See you soon!

Gordon

PS - need an invite to Google+? Just ask in this section and we'll sort you out!

Blimey, looks like it'll just be you and I Bjorn!

I have to say guys, if any of you want to build a decent following on social media, Google+ is the way forward. Don't get left behind. We have invites if you'd like to sign-up...

To give a good example: I signed up for Flickr years ago, got a following of around 400 people over the course of 3,5 years. By contrast, I've been on Google+ for a month or so; nearly 1500 people have added me to their circles. It's crazy!
You can imagine my photos get a lot more views as well. A typical shot I upload to Flickr gets 200-400 views in it's first week. Some of my photos on Google+ have been viewed >8000 times in just over a week!!! Even crazier!

Let me or Gordon know if you need an invite, I really believe G+ has good potential to be the next BIG thing!

Et voilà...Admittedly, James had already invited me sometime ago, but for some reason I hadn't set up my profile yet. Added you, Gordon, as well as Bjorn and Marijn :).

I agree Google Plus has a lot of potential, but I'm still getting used to the lay-out. After all it is similar in functionality and features to Facebook, in my opinion.
