Have you ever edited a series of images (say, which you made at an event or so) ? There are always some which you didn't bother to edit...But afterwards, you still do.

This is the thread where you can post those forgotten jewels so to speak, or images which you have recently re-edited/reprocessed :).

Some from me, to get the ball rolling...

When I take a set of photos I tend to post them to photoblog and later drip feed them into deviantArt.

I had forgotten about this one until a friend was going through my photoblog and suggest I post it on dA. I assumed I had, but sure enough when I checked it wasn't there. On posting it, bang! It hit a popularity nerve and quickly rose to my 2nd most fav'd submission. Side note: it is now down in 3rd, being knocked down by a different owl. Are owls that popular right now? I didn't feel as photos they were quite that special. Some kind of Harry Potter effect?

I was surprised about the popularity of the other owl too. I was having severe BIF fail that day hence posting that ground shot... still don't know why owls are so popular!

I re-edited the last one, as my first edit of it looked underexposed :). The other two are genuine 'forgotten jewels', to put it that way ;).

#1: Burned the sky in this one.

Cheers Phil :D I'm glad you like them. As far as the Spits are concerned, actually I haven't made as many shots of them this year as you'd expect...I had other aircraft I had to focus on ;).

I wasn't happy at all with the B&W conversion of this photograph, so I had a go at burning the background and dodging the aircraft itself :).

Burned the hill in the background as well as the sky, to enhance the contrast...

Here are a couple of others...

1: The Fighter Collection's latest addition...A P-40 from Aussieland (note the registration, VH-...)!

2: A Spitfire, one of the later marks, unless I'm mistaken. Note the teardrop canopy.

3: A Spitfire Mk. Vb...The registration actually is G-MKVB .

OK, something that doesn't fly...
I just found some shots I've taken at the "Musikmesse Frankfurt" about half a year ago.

(1) Lâg guitars in a row -
Image

(2) A Yamaha guitar that doesn't need sharpness. It sounds soft, too.
Image

(3) Another wall with acoustic guitars.
Image

I'm sorry I didn't shoot too many other instruments as I'm a guitarist myself and so I was mainly interested in those...
