I find it to be way over processed and you've got some major ghosting and evidence of PP in the background. Sorry, don't like it.

Like Trevor, I do find it very post processed, but it really can be a personal thing of whether you like that appearance or not. I like it, I think that it would look very nice in black and white, though. Also, the bokeh in the background does have a fair amount of ghosting, so I'd be careful of that next time.

Anyways, nice shot. Where did you sell it?

The ghosting is an artifact of conpressing it down for the web i think this is a 1mb file the original is 22mb. the history of the pic is , i was at a local festivel and just snaped the pic ( thank the stars i was shooting RAW at the time ) i gave the person my card and they viewed the pic on my flikr site they e-mailed me and wanted a print. I blew it up to an 11x14 gave the customer 20 of my cards and we will see were it goes from there

I've personally found that there is a big difference between posted pictures and printed pictures, when it comes to how "visible" or "heavy" post processing has been done.

For me - what I tend to like for screen viewing can be taken a little further for the typical prints I do, which is 18X12 inch. The larger sizes and the fact that the image is not backlit like the ones we see on monitors, tends to "dilute" the post processing some.

i agree i always get a proff done of my pics because what the monitor says and what you get are two diferent things
