Nice catch Jiko, how many frames did you fire-off on that shot?

My 500D isn't that fast* so I guess it was just luck. Might have been three frames.

*(Sometimes I think it has to be defective. After two shots it needs some time to buffer. And it's definitely not my memory card's fault.)

Beautiful shot Phil! Somewhere in Thailand I presume? Would like to know more about the boat, location, etc.

Very nice capture WestCoast.

I love how the tattoos contrast with everything else in the image - absolutely everything

First attempt at solarisation, not everyones cup of tea but looks striking on gloss. Wanted to make a different sort of birthday card for my mum. It took whole cartridge of ink....very expensive.....shes worth it, i love my mum and i hope she likes the card. Sue

It's hidden in the upper right corner. But it's quite easy to set the tags manually. As far as I can remember it was hidden as there were some users who didn't know how to quote effectively - and seeing all pictures again before finding the answer can be quite... well... annoying.
relevant text, NO pictures
In my opinion that's not such an exciting picture but I still loaded it up in facebook. I have done so with different other pictures before but (not expecting it) the picture got more likes than most of my other pictures - within two hours in the early morning  That's when I decided to post it here as well.

It's the Imperial Cathedral of Speyer, about 950 years old now, the largest romanesque church, shot in the very early morning shortly before sunrise.
Still I don't get why I got such a good feedback for that quite boring shot. Or does it just seem boring to me as I see that cathedral everyday as soon as I look out of the window or leave the house? Or am I usually loading up my pictures too late in the day?
