Hey guys, so I've decided to buy a good quality telephoto zoom lens since I've noticed that everytime I take a picture I have always wished that I had the extra reach needed to capture my subject. I've narrowed down my search onto two lenses, Sony 70-300mm 4.5-5.6 G Lens and the recently released Tamron 70-300mm 4.0-5.6 Di USD Lens(which is half the price of the Sony counterpart). According to the review site that I read, the only difference between the two is the Tamron lacks the "Focus Limiter Switch" and the "Focus Hold Button" which is present on the Sony lens. So my question is the focus limiter switch and the focus hold button necessary on real world use?? I usually do candid, action, street and portrait photography.

Not sure if anyone here has either of these lenses, your odds of getting some "field" reviews are better here...

I just want to know if the "Focus Limiter Switch" and "Focus Hold Button" are necessary for this kind of range and also to know if this are useful on my style of photography and also the purpose of the said features.
