Excellent portraits and wonderful black and whites.

Is it film or digital?

Phil, looks like I've got under your skin regarding B & W, that was not my intention. I respect others point of view and style of photography and was only expressing my view. I got a few clues from professionals who make successful block buster movies and I have never seen one in B & W. Love the post heading.

Cheers

I was pretty sure but had to check. Schindlers List by Speilberg was shot in B&W

Wikipedia Link

Quote:
The decision to shoot the film mainly in black and white lent to the documentary-style of cinematography

Quote:
The film was a box office success and recipient of seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Score, as well as numerous other awards (7 BAFTAs, 3 Golden Globes). In 2007, the American Film Institute ranked the film 8th on its list of the 100 best American films of all time (up one position from its 9th place listing on the 1998 list). It is considered among critics as one of the best films ever made

All three are cracking shots, this is what B & W was made for!
