Camera Labs

So here's a few of my three year old golden retriever, named "Griffey" (after Ken Griffey Jr. for you baseball fans..)

Let me know what you think, these ones looked great in camera, and I played around with them a bit in Iphoto to see if I could improve upon some already pretty good shots.... I'm not sure if I may have over done it a little bit with the PP though, let me know what you think.

Also- First time posting from Flickr, So hopefully this works..

I'm more worried about the PP in the first photo... let me know if you think it's overdone... i can also post a copy of the originals if that helps.

nice looking dog. You did well capturing the action. In the first photo, the camera appears to have focused on the body not the head.
Maybe using spot focus on the face and eyes, might be the way to go.

The time off day and harsh sun is making things difficult. Maybe a bit later or earlier in the day.

I got some good shots my dog, by getting down on my knees, ie taking shots form a lower angle.
