Hello everybody! My name is Molly, and as the title says, I'm new! I have had my DSLR for 2 years now. I already want a new one!

I bought the camera because I couldn't stand the speed of my point and shoot. I love how quickly the DSLR is. I am now just getting the time to really LEARN how to use it.

Welcome to the forum!

Just out of interest what camera are you using at the moment and why do you want a new one? Also what lenses do you have?

Welcome aboard!

I guess we're in the same boat as I too was frustrated with P&S being too slow (not to mention the noisy image quality).

I am currently shooting a Nikon D60. I only have the kit lenses which are the 18-55mm VR and the 55-200mm lens. I feel limited with my equipment. I can manipulate the camera, but until i get a better, non-kit lens, i can only do so much! I have my eyes on a prime lens, but have yet to pull the trigger to buy it. Trying to convince my husband that I really do NEED it. I have dreams of someday doing something with my pics, but, they are just dreams. I don't believe that I have the gift that so many of you do. So, I continue to shoot to the best of my ability....pushing myself a little more each time. With all that being said, I have taken pics for the better part of my life. I have loved it for as long as I can remember.
