Olympus SZ-30MR NO RAW Still Image Format...it's bad for dcamera with megazoom, megapixel & full HD! True!

Olympus SZ-30MR. Custom white balance: No.

Auto White Balance. Photo made indoors while cloudy outside. Way too blue and ugly! 99% of people make this shot and never think anything more about it.

Cloudy White Balance. Wow! Warm, golden, and just like it's supposed to look. I did this on my Canon SD700 point-and-shoot. Every digital camera over $50 and even most camera phones provide this adjustment.

Conclusion: White balance (WB) is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo. Proper camera white balance has to take into account the "color temperature" of a light source, which refers to the relative warmth or coolness of white light. Our eyes are very good at judging what is white under different light sources, but digital cameras often have great difficulty with auto white balance (AWB) — and can create unsightly blue, orange, or even green color casts. Understanding digital white balance can help you avoid these color casts, thereby improving your photos under a wider range of lighting conditions.

How many cameras were made ONLY for business in buying and selling?

What I'm Thinking About? No idea! Because Electronics giant Samsung said it will invest $20.6 billion in solar cells, batteries, LEDs and medical tech over the next 10 years.

well, selling a camera for certain brands it's 80% marketing,20% quality of the product. you can't expect olympus & pentax to sell because they're the best quality for the price.

Brie is the best known French cheese and has a nickname "The Queen of Cheeses". Several hundred years ago, Brie was one of the tributes which had to be paid to the French kings.

camcam, do you have sample photos of the SZ-30 to support what you are saying?

I'm hoping to see a proper full review of this camera.
I am leaning towards the HX9V but I dont care about GPS and 60p video isnt vital.

The SZ-30 shakes a bit towards 24x, but if I can get usable photo and video up to 20x hand-held then I'd be happy.

If they had used optical stabilisation then I'd buy the SZ-30 no question.

No! I looking for... but alternative way here...

Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR review

Pros: Sleek design, 15x optical zoom from 24-360mm, 8fps at full resolution, fast AF for a compact.

Cons: While good, image quality hasn't improved from the F300EXR. Slow Raw write times.
