I'm not sure if this will catch on as a thread but I used to be into these as I drove the country side years ago and just started photographing them again... I would imagine one can find a lot of these in cities as well.

OK, I'll bite.
I must admit I seem to like these old broken down buildings from a photographic point of view as well.

Attention Moderators: Is this subject in the correct section? Maybe Architecture and Urban would be more appropriate?
Cheers Audioman

Not sure about the best place audioman (or is it duracore?).
Especially as the posted examples (which I really like!) show more of a rural setting, not so much urban. But there are certainly dilapidated building in urban areas that are worthy subjects for photography. Sooo:
I decided to move this to the Architecture and Urban section and leave a shadow here.
Be posting some of my own, after a short break...

...and the sands of time - were eroded by - the river of constant change.
(Genesis - Firth of Fifth, from the album "Selling England by the Pound")

The following image depicts for me a prime example showing the futile efforts of men(kind) to fight the consequences of time and erosion.
Nature will claim everything back...

The Hut 11173 by Thomas, on Flickr

Taken with Nikon 18-200VR at 18mm 1/30 sec F/5.6 ISO 720.
It was quite dark in this corner of the wood so the task to capture the dilapidated hut with the remaining colors was quite challenging.

I entered this image in the challenge "Time" on March 2008 which received 0 (zero) votes of 91. So I guess it was a total failure...

Btw.: For me "huts 2" is the best of your set audioman.

Here's another one from yesterday's walk through the beautiful old city of Altdorf. Probably dated from before 1800.
