Just taken from Leica Rumors Website says that there will be a slight facelift of a Leica M9 very few changes to it & very much like the Leica M8.2..

Will certainly be interesting to see what Leica can improve on, the M9 being such a good camera already. Sapphire glass sure is interesting, but I wouldn't pay that much extra for it. I guess I'll still be buying the M9, unless of course an M10 is in the making and scheduled to arrive around December...

Hi Bjorn,

If the M8.2 and M9 announcements are any guide then if the M9-P is announced now the M10 would be another year away, possibly September '12.

Of course you could get a Sony NEX and start your Leica lens collection now but, having had a brief play with both a NEX-5 and an M9 earlier this year, I wouldn't go down that particular route myself unless somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse. The ergonomics of the two bodies are chalk and cheese and you can guess which one I'd want to put to my lips...
