This lens pretty much dropped out of the sky and landed on my lap for free awhile ago. Quick background, this is the pre-AI version, that was released around August 1975 according to
this site.
A search here didn't turn up a image gallery so here we go. All pictures taken on a D300, tripod, live view focused, mirror lock up and and remote trigger.
First, here is the lens in question taken with my 50mm F1.8D. I know this is suppose to be sample only but this lens is so old many won't know what lens this is.
200mm, F4, Serial 686981, Made in Japan, Manual Focus, Manual Aperture Ring. It does meter with my D300 and once i programmed the non-cpu lens data into the camera it displays/records aperture value on the camera/file.
