Hi All
Here is an alpine snow tussock looking very lonely. This is on the top of the Old Woman Range near Alexandra in Central Otago, NZ.
Post processing was a bit of fiddling about in Aperture. Nikon D40/18-200.

That is really beautiful. Is that an HDR shot?

Hi Rorschach, no it's not a HDR. I brushed in a curves adjustment to dramatise the sky a bit, otherwise just the usual definition and edge sharpening. If you have a mac you just have to get Aperture! It's just so easy (less complicated) and quick compared to other editors I have used.

Looks great! Is that the Moon peeking above the cloud - top center?

Hi Evolution
Yes, it is the moon. Actually it was bothering me as a distraction, I wonder if I should brush it out?

Personally I don't find it a distraction. Although if it was a crescent moon somewhere in the top right corner, I think it would've looked sweet!
