Hi,

Ive got my 3 new flashes and am ordering some umbrella diffusers. I wanted to know what flash mount bracket i should be getting so that i can have my flashes attached to my umbrella, basically something to hold the flash onto the umbrella main stem.

It will be mostly human stands that will hold them, but if the brackets will additionally allow me to mount them onto a stand then that would be a bonus.

Id like to know what type of flash mount brackets i should be looking at.

As a good mount bracket I always use the manfrotto 026 you can find it on e-bay for about 24.95GBP they are very sturdy! You need to have a cold shoe adapter to fix it on the top of the bracket so you can fix the flash on it!

For the record, a cold shoe is the same as a hotshoe, but lacks an electrical connection.
