My attempt at a website... keep in mind when it comes to stuff like this I am completely computer illiterate. I think I'm happy with it with the exception of adding more pics and maybe a few tweeks.

Nice work. The pics look good framed by the dark background.

Maybe its just my slow internet connection, but it took a while to load. Not sure if its due to the slideshow that is playing, the pics are a pretty good size, possibly even too big?
What final layout for the website have you got in mind?

Maybe smaller sized slideshow with links down the side to other pictures and topics and slideshows of the various topics. Also as I am not familiar with the birds maybe put there names in there somehow, ie in a separate Gallery.

Looks great.
The only thing I can think of, is that I need to highlight the whole page in order to read the font.

LOL I will lowliferider... just have a lot on my plate right now... spring is coming fast and trying to get out as much as I can... almost every day. I'm just glad I got it up and running. But within a few weeks I should have most of what I want up.

I just started a 3 to 5 month sabbatical from work at the beginning of April and I am busier now than I was when I was working  ... its a good busy though

Very impressive, personally I would not down size the photos, I didn't find any problem with the speed of it loading up.

Cheers

the site was nice and speedy for me. The bigger the images the better in my opinion.
