Hello,

Well ...During the last 5 years of travelling, my passion for photography and the urge to capture this stunning scenery I was continually witness too, grew. I finally bit the bullet and bought an SLR. Since then, everywhere I go on the road, it & two lovely lenses come with me.

I've now released my Travel Photography Portfolio.
ExplosiveAperture.com

Anyone interested in photos of South America, Sahara Africa, Europe and a bit of the Middle east - feel free to take a look. In October I'll be cycling from London to Singapore, so photos of Central Asia & South East Asia will be added.

This is my first go at a photography portfolio, so I'd love to hear what people who have been out there for a while in the business think ...and of course, constructive criticism is always welcome :-)

Thanks,
Clint

I think you have a very coherent portfolio. Your shots have a distinctive style with regards to composition and processing. I'm curious what general processing you've applied to your photos. They appear to have high colour saturation and many have a HDR-look.

awesome, you are mad by the way and I am jealous.

I recently read a book by Ben someone or rather that rowed the length of Yenisei River in Russia in a wooden boat. " 5 month in a leaky boat". There was another Australian on board, Tim Cope, he has done a bit of cycling and other stuff through Russia etc. He is mad too. Its good to see that there is still adventurers out there.

Thanks guys - much appreciated. It took quite a bit to sort through all of my photos.

MaxJJ - yes i've read both of those books that Ben's written. Definitely a good read. He's another Adelaide boy, like me.

Well it's 4 weeks till I start cycling. Getting pretty excited!!! Walking out the door from your last day of work is a fantastic feeling - and to think it's probably about 14 - 16 months until i'll be working again (how long it'll take to cycle London to Singapore), is an even better feeling :-)

Well I've recently updated my kit that I'll be taking on the bicycle with me.
I've now lugging:
EOS 7D + 10-22mm F3.5 - 4.5 + 17-50mm f/2.8 + 70-200mm f/4.
A heavy load to cycle with, but i'll regret it if I don't.

I created a facebook page with even more photos for those that are interested.
