I own the Nikon D40 and i kind of got tired of it, is there a Nikon that is only 600-800$?

Good grief Kriss! Didn't you only buy the D40 a few weeks ago?

To better help you upgrade, please let us know what it is you don't like about the D40...

First of all to Gordon. Great idea on adding this new forum! I've read loads of really helpful information that have helped me in my decision making process, but they are all spread throughout the entire site, so having future ones all placed here will be excellent.

Kriss, I'm so surprised! I only recently joined and read a lot of your posts that led towards you buying the D40. How come you are so tired of it already? I must admit, I was leaning towards it for a while, but am so relieved I've switched my focus (no pun intended!) towards the Canon EOS 30D. Maybe you can trade your D40 in and with a little extra money buy the D80 instead. That camera sounds like it would be right up your street. I've read that with the D40 you can customize a lot of the settings to make it more suited to what you want to use it for. What is it that it doesn't have that you would like it to have?
