I am wondering whether the kit lenses for the E410 and E510 are identical. If so, image quality on the 510 should prove to be comparable to that found by Gordon in his review of the 410, which was 18/20. Thoughts?

Hi Russ, Hi Red Royalty, yep the kit lenses for the E-510 are the same as for the E-410. The sensor is also the same, and so long as they use the same image processing, I'd expect their quality to be the same too.

So yes, in that respect, our E-410 review acts as a preview of the E-510!

PS - Yep! You'll find me in several of the UK tech magazines - I've been writing for the UK mags for over 15 years now... I currently contribute to Personal Computer World, Computer Shopper, MacUser, T3, Digital SLR User and occassionally some others too...
