I am pleased to become a member of the Camera Labs Forum. I am a professional digital camera and Photo Shop Instructor. I teach in Oregon's Community College System. I have been an instructor for 21 years.

Before I retired from my civilian occupation and became an instructor I flew for 32 years for a major US airline: Trans World Airlines, where I retired as a Boeing 747 Captain and Line Check Pilot and Instructor. I was the second woman hired by TWA, and the first to make wide body captain.

I got my training in the U.S. Navy flying everything from old SNJ aircraft ( I actually carrier qualed in an SNJ) to B-25 target towing aircraft to C118 or DC-6 aircraft as they are know as in civilian life. I am looking to take an active part in the Forum and am pleased to be a member.

That's very sad.
It sounds like she lived a full & interesting life though.
