Shots from my recent trip to London.

Went to go see Elliott Erwitt initially, but when a friend said he wanted to join, the trip got extended and we went sightseeing together. Really nice to see a photographic legend like Erwitt in person. His books are big and heavy though, so I didn't get a chance to have one signed.
Elliott Erwitt
On our first night in the city (after having arrived at the hotel at around five), we walked from Piccadilly Square to Trafalgar Square, past Downing Street, Big Ben / Houses of Parliament, London Eye then back to Westminster Abbey and finally took the tube back to the hotel.

On Monday, we walked quite a bit. Started at Harrods, then over Constitution Hill to see the last 15 minutes of the changing of the guards ceremony, then past St. James's Park to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, then to Westminster Abbey, then to Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden (my favourite place in London). Picked up the tickets for the Elliott Erwitt talk at the theatre, quickly visited the British Museum, ate, went back to Covent Garden to play around in the Apple store, then went to the theatre, then went back to Covent Garden to use the Apple store Wifi outside (store was closed) and then got on the tube at Embankment to go back to the hotel.

Day three was a bit calmer. Tower of London first (didn't go in), then Tower Bridge (did go in), sort of got lost Southwark, but managed to find the Shakespeare Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. Went across the Millennium Bridge to admire St. Paul's. Had a cheap meal at the yellow M, and headed for some business district afterwards (for 'the Gherkin'). After that we went to Burlington Arcade, the official Leica boutique (held both the black and steel grey M9 at the same time
), Bentley, Rolls Royce and Porshe (didn't go in those last three), then dinner, then walked by the Thames and went back to the hotel.
