 Post subject: Neutral Clear filter?
PostPosted: Wed Mar 09, 2011 3:33 pm
I just bought a Nikon D3100 two-lens kit and am looking for a clear filter to protect my lenses. I've read some positive reviews on the Nikon Neutral Clear filters, and they are reasonably priced. Of course, I also found a couple reviews that indicated that the Neutral Clear filters left a brownish tint on the images.

Has anyone used these? Is there another clear filter that you would recommend? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks! :D

Hoya is considered one of the best, and that's what I have. You can pick them up on ebay for 30 CAD or so. I can't comment on the ones you mentioned as I've never used them.

Thanks for the feedback, Trevor. I'm considering the Hoya brand as well.
