I sure hope not... I was planning on doing one - I've actually already got the photos taken. I supposed it's up to the voters to decide on how much is appropriate.

DAMN just saw an amazing site. Three army attack helicopters just flew over my house (there is a base somewhere nearby) and I didn't have my camera with me. Oh well guess its back to a nice car photo! Better clean the car first though :D

TravisD I really like your submission. I don't do much car photography but hope to get some good photos at Goodwood Festival of Speed later this year (I get free VIP tickets to it every year but this will be my first year with an SLR). Too bad this Assignment wasn't later this year!

Goodwood is on my bucket list of race tracks...I'd crap my pants if I could find Nick Mason and just shake his hand....8)

You blokes over the pond have a lot easier access to the "classic" stuff than we do in the US,...but VIR and a few others here are just as important to racing heritage...

My big niggle,...is you can't wonder around the tracks anymore on foot,..at least not officially....unless your doing work FOR them...I guess.

@TravisD yer it can sometimes be hard to walk around and it is extremely busy. However I am very lucky that I get a VIP pass. There are designated VIP tents were a lot of the drivers hang out. Last year I caught a glimpse of Button in there and had a chat with hamilton! :D That really made my day. Hopefully he will go again and I can get some pictures of him doing doughnuts in his F1 car :D

If you are ever over in England when the festival of speed is on definitely go!

dubaiphil and DP-PARIS love both of your images. I am going to have a hard time chosing who to vote for as I also love TravisD's image.

Is a helicopter treated like a plane for this months assignment?

Cheers

I'd assume so, it's got wings albeit rotary ones ;)
