Hi everyone,

I am going skiing next weekend and realised I don't have a bag to take on the airplane that fits all my camera gear and laptop. I have been thinking about getting a Lowepro Fastpack 350 for a while as it seems to fit all my needs. Has anyone had any experience with this bag and did they like it? Also has anyone used this on a plane and can confirm it is allowed to be used?

Thanks in advance :D

P.S I am open to suggestions about other similar bags as long as they are airplane friendly. My budget is anywhere up to about £80 :D

Thank. Do you like the bag and is it as big as it looks online. I went into the shop to have a look at it today but they had none in stock so I will buy online.

UPDATE: I decided to go with the lowepro Pro runner 450. It holds alot more than the fastpack and will be perfect for carrying all my gear. Bout through cameralabs affiliate link and should arrive wednesday. just before my ski holiday.

If your signature is still up to date, it will be huge...if you'd have asked me about the Pro Runner series I'd have recommended its smaller sibling, the Pro Runner 350 AW :).

@Joris Van den Berghe the 350 was only £3 cheaper so I thought it would be worth the extra money. My kit is up to date but more lenses are on the way soon. However the bag should be full when I pack it with accessories. I plan on using this when I need to take everything with me and my smaller lowepro nova 180 for specific events where I need minimal kit.

It will be packed with all my camera equipment and laptop. My chargers will also be in ther and all my other wires You would be surprised how many 'essential' wires I have. It will also have other accessories like lens cleaning kit and any other everyday essentials I like to carry around.

A search of the forum with the word "fastpack" will throw up a few discussion topics of various bags. There is bubblewrap's in depth review of the 350 here http://www.cameralabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23402 as well as around 60 other posts. :-)

My lowepro pro runner 450aw just arrived. First impressions are very good. The bag is more than big enough and when I pack it full with cables, laptop, charger, kit ect. There is a little space left over. I will do I full user review of it when after my holiday as this will give me a chance to test it out. It will also be interesting to take it on a plane!
