Okay, So I decided to build a website dedicated just to my music photography.

Its something that I really want to push over the next year. I'll be taking pictures for an online music review site called music news.com for free off course just to build up my portfolio. I've already got a few quite big gigs "for me anyway" lined up and thought I needed a website to really do it justice.

Please take a look and tell me what you think. All feedback welcome.

Thanks Mal

My advice would be: post only your best shots, of the best shots on your portfolio. People don't have much time to browse through your portfolio, you want to make an extreme impression in a very short time.

Then, maybe add some specialized links for the whole photo series from a particular event.

At least, that's what I did.

Thanks for the Feedback guys.
I think I get what you mean Citruspers. I guess its just the kind of sight I've chosen though.

The Links all work fine for me, and so does the web address. I'll have a look into it though, as it has me a bit worried.

Just tried to go to the lightbox page using Safari (5.0.3) on Mac OS X 10.6.6 and it just hangs with a Please Wait dialog box.

The Menus on the Portfolio page About Contact and Blog links just display raw html code when you click on them but work from the Home page.

For me the site is made less usable by the amount of scrolling required to see page content. If the images were smaller and some of the information not repeated why does the Home page need 2 sets of menu links? You may be able to remove the need to scroll so far.

If you consider some people still only have screens with 800 x 600 pixels and most only 1024 x 768 then this gives an idea of how much to put on each page. It would also make it easier for mobile device users (with tiny screens) to use the site. I was using a screen with 1680 x 1050 pixels.
