Hello I need suggestion about lens for take portrait like Tamron or Sigma can any one suggest for me please Thank you

Can I use Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD to shoot portrait
or can I use Tamron AF18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD

Or Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM or can anyone suggest because I have limit budget and just start to photograph

You can use the edit button. For portraits youll love the Canon/Nikon/Pentax or whatever 50mm 1,8.

Id recommend a 50 or an 85 f1.8, or a 70-200 f2.8 if your budget will stretch that far

50mm 1.8 if you are on a budget. 50mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.8 (depending on what focal range suits you better) if you have more to spend. Any lens is capable of taking portraits, but these lenses have a wider aperture meaning they can blur the background nicely. This will make a really nice portrait. Remember though if you are shooting multiple people you will have to use around f5.6 to keep all the people in focus.

Ditto what James said. You can't go wrong with a fast prime lens in the 50-85mm range on a crop camera. That being said, I've had lots of fun shooting portraits with my Sigma 18-200 OS. Any kind of superzoom will give you the flexibility needed for portraits both wide and tight. A lot of people swear by the 70-200 f/2.8's also, but those are both huge and expensive, not my cup of tea.

I have the 50mm 1.8 nikon and its tac sharp and 150 bucks, works like a charm is fast small and light both on the camera and on the wallet. I have the 70-200mm sigma as well and it will be a great lens for portaits as well but for around 1000 dollars, large and heavy but if you can get one I highly recomend it.
