The source (Photographybay.com) also states: "No word on the release date, but one would expect it to arrive at or around PMA 2011 in September." So sit tight, it won't be on the market for a while...

Like Bjorn said that’s an old display model from last year.
There is no shortage of people waiting for the a700 replacement. When it comes, I would assume it’s going to be the pinnacle of the APS class, and probably feature an 18MP sensor and something like 10fps all wrapped up in an alloy body.
If the D300 replacement is announced first, then we should know a bit more about the “new” sensor’s performance.
But then again I could be totally wrong.
