Morning Ladies, Gentlemen & Administrators
Just a quick hello from a new site member and relatively new Digital user. I eventually succumbed to the DSLR age and changed from film
4 years ago before that I had been using half frame,35mm and medium format since the end of the 60s thanks to my late fathers personal enthusiasm for photography which has rubbed off onto me.
I was a member of my local club in the UK which was the Brentwood and District photographic (one of the East Anglian Federation affiliated clubs) for some years until I moved house.
I hope to get some hints and tips from you digital experts specially with processing as my computor literacy is limited.
I recently change camera from my first DLSR a Nikon D200 to a D7000
so am still in the process of familerisation.
I have already done a couple of quickie posts so hope to become a fairly active member rather than a site observer
Nice to meet you all

regards
lee

Hi Lee,

welcome on board. Always a joy to be able to converse with someone who has a solid film-based background - I'm sure there will be as many questions for you to answer as there may be for you to ask :-)

Cheers!

Thank for the warm welcome fellas
My wifes cousin lives over in Victoria LahLahsr been a couple of times travelled around Kamloops area etc and stayed at the Fairmonte by lake Louise, not for long though only 2 nights as it was little bit too expensive for my wallet. I wish they would shoot the guys who keep blowing those alpine horns every 5 minutes talk about ruin a tranquil scene.

Hi Lee, not too long ago I converted from film to digital, and this site was probably the best thing to help me.
