Since you're looking for a third-party lens for your 500D, I've moved your thread to the Third party lenses section.

You might be best off with a medium-long macro lens, of which Canon themselves make some cheap options in the 60 and 100mm range I thought.

Do you want to have AF? If it doesnt matter that much, Samyang has the 85mm 1,4.

Sigma 105 2.8
Tamron 90 2.8
Tokina 80 2.8

I'd get the Tokina because of the build quality. The Sigma should have the fastest focus though.

Thank you everyone for information
So, If I look for third party lens what should I consider do I have to look for mount canon? or Do I have to look that this lens can suit to my camera or not because I never have chance to try third party lens before

Thank you everyone

Samyang is not Samsung. It is known under different names (correct me if I am wrong) and they are Korean ;) Just Google...

Third party lenses, look for the one that fits the Canon mount (should say so in the name/description of the lens). If not, ask for the right version where you will buy it.
